KNG Securities appoints ex-Goldman Sachs distressed debt expert
We are delighted to announce that we have appointed Andrew Lee as our new high-yield and distressed credit analyst. Andrew joins us from Goldman Sachs, where he spent the last seven years focused on European leveraged loans and high-yield bonds.
Andrew’s hire forms part of a major strategic expansion in our coverage of distressed debt. He joins a team that since 2019 has been coordinated by Alan Pierce, Head of High Yield and Distressed Trading, who previously held senior trading roles at Deutsche Bank and Citigroup.
Andrew joins the firm following more than 15 years of experience in fixed income credit analysis. He will provide analytical work on corporate names frequently neglected by other investment banks and other market participants. His extensive experience will allow us to produce tailor-made, in depth corporate analysis for our investors.
Andrew Lee’s appointment follows the recent hires of Igor Nartov and Cagri Kutman in key roles in our Emerging Markets team. Nartov will head our growth in CIS debt, while Kutman will lead the MENA effort with specific focus on Turkey.
More broadly, Andrew’s hire is part of our two-year growth plan for our London headquarters, where a new lease has just been agreed with a doubling of our office space capacity.
