KNG Securities appoints Brazilian debt expert Christian Laloe as Head of Debt Capital Markets

We are delighted to announce that we have appointed LATAM specialist Christian Laloe as Head of Debt Capital Markets and Special Situations in Latin America.
The hire comes as we continue to deliver on our strategy of expansion in Emerging Markets. Christian Laloe joins us with over 20 years of experience in Brazilian fixed income. He previously worked at BTG Pactual within their proprietary trading desk. His other experience includes Globex Advisory, advising Brazilian Corporates on tailor-made solutions to optimise their capital structure. Christian’s experience in the LATAM region, particularly Brazil, will be strategically important to our growth.
The appointment of Christian follows the recent hire of Turkish fixed income expert Cagri Kutman and CIS specialist Igor Nartov, further broadening our expertise in Emerging Markets. Furthermore, Christian’s hire follows the appointment of former Barclays Capital Director Halila Mazin to our Credit Trading team and ex-Goldman Sachs analyst Andrew Lee to our Distressed Credit team.
Christian’s experience in advising local corporates on debt restructuring and his expertise in market making for LATAM bonds will be instrumental in improving our footprint in the region. His long-standing relationships across Brazil and the whole LATAM region will be significant additions to the firm and will tie into our growth strategy in this key area.
